Hello there! Our customers are always very interested in finding out what kind of colors can be done without bleaching and even better, to be done directly without any highlighting or lifting. We’ll introduce this here. This is a very special month as this is the first time that we are having this service as our service of the month - Dark Purple or Dark Green that is done without bleaching.
You might be wondering how is it possible to do a purple or green directly without any bleaching or lifting. This has to do with the 2 colors, in comparison to other colors, they have slightly more pigment in nature so our asian hair can absorb the color.
In addition, we are adding a color booster to the original purple/green dye. Although our asian hair can absorb the purple/green dye directly, we added a color booster to ensure it works even better. The booster is like a concentrated pigment solution to enhance the color dye, it boost the pigment so it can be fuller and stronger, good stuff!
The process is pretty straightforward, it’s a simple color application on the hair - apply, wait, rinse, and that’s it, nothing else. Haha. On our end, we’ll add the color booster into the mix beforehand.

We’ll include more photos of the dark purple/green below but before that, let’s talk about some points to take note of. As this is done directly without bleaching or lifting, it can turn out lighter or darker depending on your current hair color.
This means, if it is currently a normal medium brown shade, the purple/green will work well. On the other hand, if you have colored black or very dark brown before this, it is likely the outcome will be very dark, mainly due to the residue from the previous black or dark brown coloring.
Some of the ways that you can explore further with this are if you currently have highlights or balayage. When you color the dark purple on the entire hair, it will be a dark purple base with lighter purple highlights, or for balayage, it will be a dark purple base with a lighter purple balayage. Both the base and highlights/balayage will be purple or green, in different shades so it will be really beautiful!
Next, for maintenance, we have our own brand of color pigment shampoo. Unlike color shampoo, color pigment shampoo has a specific color pigment in it, mainly to replenish the specific color pigment back into the hair.
When we wash our hair, bits of the pigment will be washed away, this is where the shampoo comes in, to replenish some of it back so that the color can last longer.
